Mr. Doak graduated Summa Cum Laude from Western Illinois University in 1993 with a bachelors in business. Mr. Doak was selected by then Governor Edgar as Illinois State Student Laureate.
Mr. Doak attended law school at Northern Illinois University College of Law where he was an assistant editor of the Law Review and Moot Court Champion having also won the prizes for best written brief and best oral advocate.
Attorney Doak is active civically and sits on the board of directors for
Freeport's largest Employer, the Freeport Health Network and Freeport
Memorial Hospital. He also served as President of the local Rotary Club,
Winneshiek theater group board of directors, officer of the Stephenson
County Bar Association, Episcopal Church Vestry Member and member of the
Illinois State Bar Association.
